As part of our Shop Carbon Neutral for 2020 initiative, we are improving how online orders are delivered; and will be more transparent about all the environmental donations we make out of delivery and other environmental charges.
Logistics research tells us that less-rapid delivery services measurably reduces the carbon & associated environmental impacts generated. From February 2020, all our standard online and mail order deliveries will be dispatched using 2nd class or equivalent services by selected providers who have strong environmental welfare credentials – our current preferred partner is Royal Mail who has shown a world-leading commitment to becoming at least carbon neutral.
In addition to our Shop Carbon Neutral initiative, we still wish to encourage online customers to group small, low value purchases together to reduce packaging and transportation Impacts and are maintaining a fixed environmental charge of £4.50 for all deliveries of orders of less than £35. Funds generated will go directly to our tree planting programmes which help reduce the impact of CO2 on the environment - thank you for your understanding.
My Boutique will also continue to offer international deliveries and next-day guaranteed (Mon - Sat) special delivery services but will identify the individual environmental impact and allocate additional funds generated from these services to our 2020 tree planting initiatives to help off-set the higher carbon footprint incurred.
International delivery for packages up to 2kg are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed service (3-5 days) at a fixed rate of £14.50 for EU orders; and £19.50 for USA/Canada.
My Boutique aims to dispatch/fulfil for collection all orders within one working day but this may take longer during periods of exceptional activity or when items are awaiting restocking or transfer.
We will always keep you up-to-date on the progress of your order, notify you of any likely delay, and advise you when parcels have been shipped, along with tracking information by email or message - arrival to UK addresses should take no more than a couple of days but please allow a few extra days before informing us that your standard delivery order has not arrived.
