Delivery FAQ

General Delivery update 01/01/21

My Boutique Farnham Common is continuing to process and dispatch orders.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 working days subject to excessive volumes or other unforeseen circumstances. 

In order to offer a safe online service (due to covid-19) and to safely process orders, deliveries and returns, all online order dispatched after 01/01/21 of £75 or more will include free UK delivery up to 2kg.

All other excess weight and/or export orders will incur a delivery charge as detailed during checkout.

Click & collect is currently suspended to manage staff and visitor safety.  We hope to reinstate a full Click & collect service as soon as it is safe to do so. 

We will continue to process orders as quickly as possible but some delay may occur at peak periods and due to additional covid-19 safety & protection measures.

Sorry - Special Delivery upgrade is no longer an available option as we cannot currently guarantee this service.

International Delivery is an available option to certain international destinations.

No VAT on EU, USA, Canada & Channel Islands orders - Updated 01/01/2021

We have updated our online and internal systems so they do not charge UK VAT on exports to EU, USA, Canada or Channel Island destinations.

Our latest system updates enable us to meet the increased record-keeping requirements to achieve this. 

During checkout, you will see (normally after you confirm your export territory delivery address) that all prices are exclusive of VAT.

Orders to these territories are sent Delivered at Place and (where appropriate) you will be responsible for meeting the costs associated with importing your order and for any duties and tax charges applied/relevant to your shipping destination, upon arrival of your goods (normally before or concurrent with delivery).

UK tax territory purchasers remain liable to pay VAT and prices will detail the included taxes.

 

 

Delivery FAQ

My Boutique offers free UK delivery on orders over £75 as well as various other local or International shipping options.

Orders are processed/prepared for delivery or collection within one working day. Over 90% of all orders are dispatched next working day (with many often dispatched same day) by dpd next day (2-day for Highlands and certain other destinations) or by Royal Mail signed for service.

In normal conditions, we also offer Click & Collect from your local My Boutique store - please refer to the Click & Collect FAQ for further details. If you have selected collection during checkout for an order under £75 in error but wish to have this order delivered to you, please pay for delivery at:

As part of our Shop Carbon Neutral for 2020 initiative, we are working to improve how online orders are delivered; and be more transparent about all the environmental donations we make that are connected with the delivery of orders.

In order to meet our general carbon reduction targets, during 2020 all standard online and mail order deliveries will usually be dispatched using 2nd class or equivalent services.

In addition to our Shop Carbon Neutral initiative, we still wish to encourage online customers to group small, low value purchases together to reduce packaging and transportation Impacts and are maintaining a fixed environmental charge of £4.50 for all deliveries of orders of less than £75. Funds generated will go directly to our tree planting programmes which help reduce the impact of CO2 on the environment - thank you for your understanding.

My Boutique continue to offer international deliveries and next-day guaranteed (Mon - Sat) special delivery services and we allocate additional funds generated from these services towards our 2020 tree planting initiatives to help off-set the higher carbon footprint incurred.

International delivery for packages up to 2kg are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed service (3-5 days).

Please note that orders may take longer during periods of exceptional activity or when items are awaiting restocking or transfer. We will always tell you before you buy if an item is being "pre-sold" while we are awaiting stock delivery.

We will also always keep you up-to-date on the progress of your order, notify you of any likely delay, and advise you when parcels have been shipped, along with tracking information by email or message - arrival to UK addresses should take no more than a couple of days but please allow a few extra days before informing us that your standard delivery order has not arrived.
